 "Hey Ryan do you want to run a painting business this summer?" Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever run a painting business. Where would I get the resources? Where would I get the painters? Who would help me if there was a problem? Where do I even start? The answer was College Pro Painters. College Pro gave me the opportunity of a lifetime to run my own business. Honestly, how many of your friends can actually say they have run a business? And no, that tiny lemonade stand does not count. Neither does their college basketball pool. College Pro provided the tools necessary to help me run a business. The training was not overwhelming at all. We learned in increments on such things as advertising, generating leads and doing estimates on homes to be painted.
I ran a medium sized business this past summer, and while it was below my goal, I still consider my experience in College Pro a huge success. I learned how to generate a business in my home town of Worthington, Ohio. I ran three crews that had great success. My customers were very satisfied with our work, and I had very few complaints. Most jobs young kids get today do not prepare them for their future. Bagging groceries, mixing drinks and working in the mall do not prepare you for a successful future. College Pro does. You get the backing from a professional company to make a business of your own. I am so glad I got the opportunity to run a College Pro business. After doing it I have a whole new respect for people who run their own businesses, because I can now say that I have run of my own. |
