There are two employment opportunities available with College Pro, painting positions and franchise manager positions. If you’ve decided that the College Pro franchise manager position might be a good fit for you, it’s up to you to make the next move. College Pro’s Year One development plan has four key phases and unfolds over the course of one year. Every step is carefully planned so that with our training and support – and your drive – you will be fully prepared to run your business.

Applying

• All students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply

• Submit an application, giving careful thought to your responses

• After initial evaluation, selected candidates will participate in assessments and interviews. This can also include a discussion with parents

• Those selected to run a College Pro business will have planning and training sessions covering:

- Business planning and goal setting

- Financial planning

- Marketing and sales training

- Employee interviewing and hiring

- Technical knowledge of the painting industry

Getting your business off the ground

• Attend hands-on training in all aspects of delivering a quality paint job

• Create and implement a marketing plan to generate customer leads

• Follow up on your leads to sell services to homeowners

• Create and deploy a painter recruitment plan, hire painters

Running your business

• Continue to market and sell to homeowners

• Manage your painting projects, supply your painting crews with materials

• Manage client and employee relations

• Pay bills and manage finances

• Monitor production schedules

• Track performance against your business plan

At the end of the summer
